Mitchell Austin is a Marine Corps Veteran, having served as a combat photographer during his service stationed in Japan.
Mitchell’s journey into photography began in his youth, revealing a constant eagerness to wield a camera. It wasn’t until college that he honed his skills through professional classes. After graduating from culinary school, he relocated to Austin, Texas, initially working as a chef and later transitioning to a role as a food photographer.
During his leisure time in Japan, Mitchell dedicated himself to exploring various cities along the coast, documenting the people and the captivating beauty of Japan.
His debut book, titled “Perspective,” comprises the four years he spent in Japan, capturing its sights through his interpretation.
