Hands down, The best part of traveling alone as a photographer is being able to take my time for any shot. I lost track of how many times I’ve missed a shot because my friends were rushing me.
When traveling alone, I’m not bound by my companions’ opinions fighting against mine with what I should capture. It’s just me and my cravings for adventure. Even though I don’t like traveling alone, I have to say that I’ve come to appreciate it. It sure has it’s ups and downs.
For my birthday, decided that I wanted to spend some time traveling Japan. I would tell you what I did, but the photos will speak louder and more clearly than my words could. They have always done a better job showing my adventures. Plus, I wouldn’t want to bore you all with pages of writing.
The one thing that I will say is that with Japan is filled with good food and wonderful company. It’s amazing what you will find just by taking a second to look around, pick a direction, and start your next adventure.
Enjoy.
